LABUAN, Feb 14 (Bernama) -- The RM11.2 million repair and maintenance project for blocks A and B of the girls’ dormitory, along with related works at the Labuan Vocational College, has been completed almost a year ahead of schedule.
Labuan Public Works Department (PWD) director Mohd Faizul Ali Hanapiah said the project included the construction of 32 bedrooms for 128 students and two wardens’ quarters.
He described the project’s completion 336 days ahead of schedule as proof of efficient project management, saying it was also the result of close and continuous monitoring by the Labuan PWD team.
“This is a historic achievement for Labuan development projects,” he said.
He said that overall, five education maintenance projects valued at RM37.4 million have been approved in Labuan, with the majority already completed and handed over.
