APPLICATIONS FOR POLYTECHNIC, COMMUNITY COLLEGE DIPLOMA, CERTIFICATE PROGRAMMES NOW OPEN

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 27 (Bernama) -- Applications for student intake for Session 1 of 2026/2027 for diploma and certificate programmes at 36 polytechnics and 106 community colleges are now open online until March 27.

The Higher Education Ministry’s Polytechnic and Community College Education Department said that applications  are open to  via the MyPOLYCC e-Form can be made from 5 pm today until 5 pm, March 27 via https://ambilan.mypolycc.edu.my.

Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) students from 2024 and below as well as holders of Polytechnic, Community College, Vocational College certificates, holders of PERDA Higher Skills Institute certificates, MARA Skills Institute certificates, Malaysian Agriculture Institute certificates and Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) Level 3 graduates can apply.

Higher Secondary Vocational Programme and SKM Level 2 graduates are also eligible this year, while students with disabilities who have completed Form Five or special education programmes can apply for 12 Special Skills Certificate programmes offered at five polytechnics and 12 community colleges.

“The applications are limited to students with hearing and learning disabilities. Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) holders are also invited to apply for diploma and certificate programmes,” the department said in a statement today.

The department also announced that there are 33,000 seats available for this session, with registration for the new intake of foundation programmes on June 14, and June 21 for diploma, certificate and special skills certificate programmes.

The department will also be introducing an exclusive NAVALTech@PSA programme with the cooperation of Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Polytechnic (PSA) and the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN), aimed to supply skilled technical workers with an annual intake of 200 candidates for the RMN Specialised Tasks Diploma.

The programme is offered through four diploma programmes at PSA - mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering (industrial packaging), electronic engineering (communications) and electronic engineering (control).
