KUALA LUMPUR, March 5 (Bernama) -- Retail pharmacy chain guardian Malaysia is inviting Malaysians to look beyond tradition and embrace a deeper, more lasting expression of care - the gift of wellness - this Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
Malaysia and Brunei guardian Health and Beauty managing director Priscilla Wu, in a statement today, said the company is gently reframing the tradition of giving because, beyond duit Raya and festive dishes, they encourage Malaysians to give something that safeguards health and supports wellbeing.
“Beyond duit Raya and festive dishes, we encourage Malaysians to give something that safeguards health and supports wellbeing - because the truest expression of love is ensuring our families remain protected and cared for.
“For over 58 years, guardian has stood beside Malaysians as a trusted wellness advisor. Every thoughtfully chosen health or beauty gift becomes more than a product - it becomes a blessing that endures beyond the festivities,” she said at the launch of guardian’s Raya campaign, “Seikhlas Pemberian, Seindah Lebaran”, recently.
To help families prepare for Raya, guardian is offering up to 50 per cent discounts on over 7,500 products across all stores nationwide and online to make it easier for Malaysians to choose gifts that prioritise health, beauty and everyday wellbeing.
The statement said the campaign message comes to life through guardian’s new Raya film, “Seikhlas Pemberian, Seindah Lebaran”, which follows Rina and her grandmother, portraying how simple, thoughtful gifts of wellness over the years quietly strengthened their bond and supported their health.
The film closes with a heartfelt reminder that the most meaningful Raya gifts are good health, love and sincere prayer, and is now available on YouTube and all guardian social media platforms.
According to the statement, in the spirit of Ramadan, guardian also hosted 80 girls from various homes at the campaign launch held at the Orange Atrium, Sunway Pyramid shopping centre.
The girls took part in wellness sessions led by guardian pharmacists and selected brand partners as part of guardian’s ongoing commitment to empowering young Malaysians with practical wellness knowledge and personal care education.
The girls were also taken on a Hari Raya shopping spree at the Atrium event and the Sunway Pyramid guardian store, selecting their preferred health and beauty products, with guidance from guardian team members and media. They were then treated to a special Buka Puasa (breaking of fast) buffet.
The statement added that throughout the month of Ramadan, guardian will continue its charity wellness contributions, impacting close to 2,000 beneficiaries from various homes through outreach and wellness initiatives in several communities by pledging over RM55,000.
To make this festive season even more meaningful, MYguardian Rewards members can participate in the Gold Rewards Contest, with over RM80,000 worth of prizes to be won from Feb 25 to March 31, 2026.
Members who spend a minimum of RM50 in a single receipt, including participating brands, will be automatically entered to win a grand prize of a 999 gold Necklace and Pendant Rama Rama set by Habib Jewels.
Other prizes include four second prizes of a 999 gold Hand Bracelet by Habib Jewels and 1,000 weekly rewards of RM50 Habib Jewels vouchers.
Meanwhile, according to the statement, this Raya, Fiziwoo, is partnering with guardian once again to design exclusive Raya packets as part of guardian's ongoing #LoveForLocal initiative which celebrates exceptional homegrown brands.
These designs pay tribute to Malaysian heritage with a bold, contemporary batik motif and members who spend RM68 and above will receive an exclusive Fiziwoo green packet pack containing a RM5 guardian voucher.
