PRCA in a statement said the election of its new Executive Committee (EXCO) for the 2026-2028 term was held during its 28th Annual General Meeting (AGM), recently.
Mohd Said Bani, who is the founder and managing director of bzBee Consult, will lead a team comprising Vice President Grace Chiam (BrandCulture), Honorary Secretary Stefanie Braukmann (Strategic Public Relations Group) and Honorary Treasurer Lydia Chia (ROOTS PR).
The newly elected Ordinary Committee Members include Immediate Past President Andy See (Perspective Strategies), Zuraida Malek (Zeta M Consulting) and Zalina Abdul Aziz (bzBee Consult).
Mohd Said Bani said the role of communications professionals has become more strategic in an era of misinformation and rising expectations for transparency.

The statement said, a significant highlight of the AGM was the signing of the Industry Integrity Pledge by PRCA members, a move aimed at strengthening ethical standards amidst a landscape increasingly shaped by digital disruption and artificial intelligence (AI)
Moving forward, the association has identified several key priorities, including the development of industry guidelines for the responsible use of AI in communications and the expansion of professional development platforms.
PRCA also plans to introduce high-impact industry forums addressing emerging issues such as AI governance, procurement practices and media transformation; continue to strengthen its flagship Malaysia Public Relations Awards (MPRA) and expand mentorship opportunities for young professionals and students entering the field.
