1. COMMITTEE REGISTERS 1,900 SEED VARIETIES - - THE GLOBAL NEW LIGHT OF MYANMAR

The National Seed Committee registered 1,925 seed varieties after inspecting new crop seeds, including agricultural crops, horticultural, industrial crops, and new-generation seeds. Seed experts, private businesspersons and farm owners approved the seed selections.

 

2. MYANMAR TO SHOWCASE PRODUCTS AT CHINA-ASEAN EXPO - - THE GLOBAL NEW LIGHT OF MYANMAR

Myanmar will participate in the 21st China-ASEAN Expo in Nanning, from 24 to 28 September. The local business community will set up 84 booths to showcase their products from rice, Arabica coffee, aquatic items, fruits, tea, spices, handicrafts to gemstones.
