GAZA, Dec 26 (Bernama-WAFA) -- Five journalists were killed at dawn on Thursday in an Israeli occupation forces bombing in the central Gaza Strip, Palestine News and Info Agency (WAFA) reported.
Medical sources said that the occupation forces bombed a TV broadcast vehicle in front of Al-Awda Hospital in Al-Nuseirat camp, killing five journalists who were inside.
Among the journalists was journalist Ayman Al-Hadi, who arrived at the hospital with his wife who was about to give birth to their first child, but he took advantage of the waiting hours to check on his colleagues who were at the hospital door in a TV broadcast vehicle.
Since the beginning of the aggression against our people on October 7, 2023, the occupation forces have killed more than 190 journalists.
Medical sources announced that the death toll in the Strip has risen to 45,361, the majority of whom are children and women, and the number of injured has risen to 107,803, while thousands of victims are still under the rubble.
