KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 9 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today, mirroring losses in the underlying cash market.
At the close, January 2025 was 13.5 points lower at 1,599.5, February 2025 dropped 15.0 points to 1,602.5, while March 2025 and June 2025 contracts declined 14.0 points to 1,587.0 and 1,592.0.
Turnover increased to 7,852 lots from 7,635 lots on Wednesday, while open interest expanded to 44,051 contracts from 43,635 previously.
At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI fell 14.02 points, or 0.86 per cent, to 1,600.81 from Wednesday’s close of 1,614.83.
