1,383 N. SEMBILAN PILGRIMS TO PERFORM HAJ THIS YEAR - AMINUDDIN

SEREMBAN, April 20 (Bernama) -- A total of 1,383 Muslims from Negeri Sembilan will perform the haj pilgrimage this year, said Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun.

He said the group comprises 569 male and 814 female pilgrims.

“I am confident that they have undergone several preparatory courses organised by Tabung Haji (TH), such as the Basic Haj Course, Intensive Haj Course and today’s Premier Haj Course, which further strengthen their understanding of the haj rituals and related matters, including health and management aspects.

“Improvements made to the haj courses have provided greater convenience for pilgrims and reflect the excellent recognition of haj management by TH,” he said.

He was speaking at the closing ceremony of the state-level Premier Haj Course for the 1446H/2025M haj season here today, with TH Haj Guidance Division head Shahrin Awaludin also present.

Aminuddin also advised pilgrims to make full use of their time in the Holy Land by focusing on acts of worship, adhering to all regulations and maintaining a high level of discipline.

Meanwhile, Shahrin said Negeri Sembilan was among the states that recorded a 95 per cent attendance rate for the course, reflecting a strong commitment among pilgrims.

“Alhamdulillah, the Premier Haj Courses started last week and this week sees the most number of states holding the programme. The response has been very encouraging, with over 80 per cent attendance recorded,” he said.
