TAPAH, April 21 (Bernama) -- The Barisan Nasional (BN) machinery has been reminded to embrace the ‘ABCDE’ formula during the final phase of the Ayer Kuning state by-election campaign.
UMNO War Room Secretariat chief Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan said the formula comprises five elements, namely (A) consistent campaign activities, (B) integrated cooperation among party machinery, (C) credible and suitable candidate, (D) comprehensive and detailed voter data and (E) emotional maturity throughout the campaign period.
“If implemented effectively, this formula could be the key to success in any election,” he told Bernama while campaigning with BN candidate Dr Mohamad Yusri Bakir at the Jeram Mengkuang District Polling Centre here today.
Ahmad also stressed that party machinery must ensure voters of all backgrounds turn out on April 26, as every vote is crucial to help BN retain the Ayer Kuning state seat.
The by-election is a three-cornered fight involving Mohamad Yusri, Perikatan Nasional candidate Abd Muhaimin Malek and Parti Sosialis Malaysia candidate Bawani KS.
