Fadhlina said the Ministry of Education (MOE) has allocated a special contribution of RM100,000 to Maktab Mahmud, an institution renowned for nurturing scholars and leaders who have played a key role in advancing the cause of Islam.
"Maktab Mahmud has always been close to the prime minister's heart. He sends his greetings to the students, teachers, the entire school community and alumni.
"Congratulations to the Maktab Mahmud alumni who have carried out various initiatives to improve the quality of education," she said in her speech.
Fadhlina said the MADANI government has never marginalised any school and is always committed to promoting Islamic teachings.
"The Maktab Mahmud students’ mastery of the Arabic language, in particular, must be maintained.
“Maktab Mahmud must also continue to step up efforts to implement the Hadith 40 appreciation initiative," she said.
Meanwhile, she congratulated Kedah for its improved performance in the 2024 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination.
