KUALA LUMPUR, May 2 (Bernama) -- Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof has congratulated the Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama) on receiving the Best Media Award (Agency) in conjunction with the 2025 National Labour Day celebration yesterday.
In a post on X today, Fadillah said the award recognised Bernama's excellence in delivering accurate, timely and credible news to the public through various media platforms.
“May Bernama continue to grow and excel as the government’s official source in reporting local and international news,” he said.
Bernama received the inaugural award from Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim yesterday during the National Labour Day 2025 celebration at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil.
The agency received a trophy and RM10,000 in cash.
The Best Media Agency Award was one of two new categories introduced by the Human Resources Ministry (KESUMA), alongside the National Workers' Figure Award for Public Service (Top Management).
