KUALA LUMPUR, May 2 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher today in line with the cash market’s performance.
The May 2025 and September 2025 contracts gained 11.5 points each to 1,542.5 and 1,523.0 respectively, June 2025 climbed 13.0 points to 1,541.0 and December 2025 stood at 1,532.0.
Turnover fell to 6,132 lots from 11,952 lots on Wednesday, while open interest tumbled to 39,482 contracts from 47,978 previously.
At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 2.27 points, or 0.15 per cent, to 1,542.49 from Wednesday’s close of 1,540.22.
The exchange was closed on Thursday for the Labour Day holiday.
