HAQQI MALL OPENS DOORS TO HALAL LIFESTYLE PRODUCTS

SHAH ALAM, May 2 (Bernama) -- Koperasi Tabung Haji Berhad (KTHB) is venturing into shariah-compliant digital commerce with the launch of Haqqi Mall, a Muslim lifestyle e-commerce platform anchored in the halal ecosystem.

KTHB deputy chairman Nazif Md Arif said the platform extended beyond food products, encompassing apparel, health products, engineering services, education, and halal certification consultancy.

"Haqqi Mall guarantees a seamless online and offline shopping experience that is secure, syariah-compliant and trustworthy, with all vendors undergoing halal standard operating procedure (SOP) compliance verified by the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM).

“To ensure transparency in halal status, Haqqi Mall openly collaborates with users to verify halal certification of any listed product,” he told Bernama here today.

Nazif also emphasised the platform's focus on empowering local brands, particularly small and medium enterprises (SMEs), by expanding their market reach.

"KTHB aims to onboard 300 SME vendors soon, while creating opportunities for its 1,100 members to scale businesses competitively," he said, noting collaborations with JAKIM's Halal Hub Division and Serunai Commerce to guide vendors through halal certification.

Nazif also highlighted Haqqi Mall's educational role in raising awareness about non-food halal products, welcoming non-Muslim consumers who increasingly preferred halal-certified goods.

Earlier, Nazif launched the Haqqi Mall website at the SSF Home Garden Outlet in Glenmarie, Shah Alam.
