MAKKAH, May 5 (Bernama-SPA) -- The Holy Makkah Municipality has carried out an extensive programme to maintain and rehabilitate key roads and streets in Makkah and the holy sites as part of its thorough preparations for the 1446 Hajj season, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The programme involve repairs and upgrading of all infrastructure such as roads, sidewalks, bridges, tunnels and lighting systems to enhance services for pilgrims and ensure a safe, seamless experience.
These efforts align with the directives of the Saudi leadership to prioritise the security, comfort, and ease of movement for pilgrims, enabling them to perform their rituals with convenience.
