MIGHT, IAT ESTABLISH STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP TO ADVANCE AI-POWERED AUDIT ASSURANCE IN MALAYSIA

CYBERJAYA, May 18 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT) has entered into a strategic partnership with Imagination Advisory and Technology (IAT), the developer of AUDREY, an artificial intelligence (AI) powered audit and assurance platform, to drive the adoption of advanced digital technologies in Malaysia.

The partnership was formalised through the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on May 10.

The collaboration was facilitated by Philandure Consulting Group (PCG), IAT’s regional partner in Malaysia, which will continue to support engagement and deployment strategies for the platform in the local market.

MIGHT president and chief executive officer Rushdi Abdul Rahim said the partnership reflects MIGHT’s commitment to advancing transformative technologies that support Malaysia’s aspirations in digital governance and AI leadership.

“We are pleased to work closely with IAT and PCG to enable the successful implementation of this innovative platform.

“Under the MoU, MIGHT assumes the role of Technology Strategic Partner (TSP), supporting the integration and scaling of AUDREY across public and private institutions,” he said in a statement today.

Rushdi added that the initiative aligns with national efforts to accelerate digital transformation and embed AI technologies into governance and compliance frameworks.

The collaboration will focus on piloting AUDREY’s deployment, engaging key stakeholders and building local capabilities in AI-enabled assurance solutions.

Developed in South Africa, AUDREY is the world’s first AI-native platform dedicated to audit and assurance.

It features a proprietary generative pre-trained transformer (GPT) engine, real-time risk analytics and full data population testing, enabling continuous assurance and predictive insight at unprecedented speed and scale.
