KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 9 (Bernama) -- The High Commission of India in Malaysia has announced that foreigners travelling to India can now fill out the Disembarkation Card online or on arrival, in a move to ease congestion and ensure smoother clearance at immigration counters.
In a statement posted on Facebook, the mission said the physical submission of the card will continue until the digital system is fully stabilised, or for a maximum of six months, whichever is earlier.
“The online Disembarkation Card can be filled through the Bureau of Immigration website (https://boi.gov.in), the Indian Visa website (https://indianvisaonline.gov.in), or via the official ‘Indian Visa Su Swagatam’ mobile app, within 72 hours before arrival in India,” it said.
