AMANAHRAYA, TAKAFUL IKHLAS LAUNCH PEWARISAN BERTAKAFUL PLAN TO ENHANCE ESTATE PLANNING

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 14 (Bernama) -- Amanah Raya Berhad (AmanahRaya) has launched the Pewarisan Bertakaful plan through a strategic collaboration with Takaful Ikhlas Family Berhad (Takaful IKHLAS) offering Malaysians a comprehensive solution for well-managed estate planning.

In a statement today, Takaful IKHLAS said the plan leverages the combined expertise of both institutions in trust management and takaful protection, providing estate administration fee financing protection of up to RM54,000.

AmanahRaya Group managing director Ahmad Feizal Sulaiman Khan, in the same statement, said the partnership with Takaful Ikhlas was established due to its proven expertise in providing Syariah-compliant financial protection in Malaysia.

He expressed hope that the plan would encourage more Malaysians to begin their estate planning journey.

Ahmad Feizal said that for over a century, AmanahRaya has remained committed to helping individuals plan their estates to protect their inheritance across generations, although financial constraints continue to hinder some heirs from completing the estate administration process.

“In view of this, we introduced the Pewarisan Bertakaful plan as a proactive step to help address these challenges and ensure that the estate administration process can be carried out more smoothly and efficiently,” he said.

Meanwhile, Takaful IKHLAS president and chief executive officer Wan Ahmad Najib Wan Ahmad Lotfi said the strategic partnership with AmanahRaya was in line with the company’s goal of broadening access to and strengthening the reach of takaful protection.

He said the collaboration also reflected the company’s commitment to implementing the Value-Based Intermediation for Takaful (VBIT) initiative for the benefit of Malaysians.

“Through the Pewarisan Bertakaful plan, participants can benefit from AmanahRaya’s expertise in estate services as well as the group takaful protection offered by Takaful IKHLAS.

“With affordable contributions starting from RM10 per month, participants can not only protect themselves and their heirs from the financial burden of estate management costs but also receive compensation in the event of natural or accidental death,” he said.

The Pewarisan Bertakaful plan can be subscribed to online or at any AmanahRaya branch nationwide without the need for a medical check-up.
