JOHOR BAHRU, Nov 28 (Bernama) -- The Sultan Ibrahim Johor Foundation (YSIJ) has contributed 100 smart television sets to religious schools statewide to support the adoption of digital learning and enhance teaching quality.

In a post on Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar’s official Facebook page, YSIJ Trustee Datuk Avinderjit Singh said the contribution is expected to benefit students and teachers by enabling more interactive, modern and effective learning methods.

“This initiative reflects YSIJ’s ongoing commitment to ensuring that every educational institution is equipped with technological facilities that meet current needs.

“It also paves the way for a more dynamic and inclusive learning experience,” he said at the presentation ceremony at Sekolah Menengah Tinggi Arab (Maahad Johor) here today.

Also present were State Islamic Religious Affairs Committee chairman Mohd Fared Mohd Khalid, Johor Islamic Religious Department (JAINJ) director Nasri Ali and YSIJ chief executive officer Mohd Anizam Jamian.

Mohd Fared expressed his deepest gratitude to His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia for the contribution channelled through YSIJ, describing the Ruler’s concern and attentiveness toward religious schools in Johor as highly meaningful, especially for teachers and students.
