KOTA KINABALU, Dec 1 (Bernama) -- Acting Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) president Datuk Seri Dr Joachim Gunsalam is among the three Deputy Chief Ministers in the newly formed Sabah Cabinet.
The two other Deputy Chief Ministers are Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) secretary-general Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun and United Progressive Kinabalu Organisation (UPKO) president Datuk Ewon Benedick.
Joachim, Masidi and Ewon took their oaths before Sabah Yang Dipertua Negeri Tun Musa Aman at the swearing-in ceremony for Sabah Cabinet members at Istana Seri Kinabalu here today.
Early Sunday morning, GRS chairman Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor was sworn in as the 17th Chief Minister of Sabah following the conclusion of the state election.
GRS won 29 of the 73 seats contested, while Parti Warisan (Warisan) secured 25 seats, Barisan Nasional (6), Independents (5), UPKO (3), Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (STAR, 2), while Perikatan Nasional (PN), Parti Kesejahteraan Demokratik Masyarakat (KDM) and Pakatan Harapan (PH) each won one seat.
