KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 17 (Bernama) -- Dongfeng Motor has officially launched its G Series high-end truck brand for overseas markets at the 2026 Overseas Commercial Vehicle Partnership Summit held last month in Shiyan, Hubei Province.
The G Series integrates top-tier global supply chains and has undergone rigorous testing, offering enhanced durability and cost efficiency, the company said in a statement, adding that the new range is designed to deliver efficient transportation solutions for global customers.
Company leadership highlighted Dongfeng’s continued investment in new energy and intelligent technologies, including the rollout of a hydrogen fuel cell heavy-duty truck and a comprehensive product portfolio covering all major powertrain types.
By deepening localised operations and strengthening its marketing system, Dongfeng is accelerating the global expansion of its commercial vehicle business.
Meanwhile, at the 2026 Passenger Vehicle Global Partnership Summit held in Xiamen, Fujian Province, Dongfeng outlined its overseas passenger vehicle strategy and launched the global debut and shipment of 10,000 units of the DONGFENG VIGO, further expanding its global product portfolio.
Dongfeng also showcased its self-owned brands, including M-HERO and VOYAH, featuring advanced technologies in new energy and intelligent mobility. The company said it will work closely with partners to expand global markets by building a comprehensive overseas value chain spanning research and development, manufacturing, marketing and services.
At both summits, the company recognised outstanding overseas partners, while dealer representatives from various regions shared successful market expansion experiences, underscoring the company’s emphasis on collaboration and win-win cooperation.
