KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 30 (Bernama) -- Cypark Resources Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary Cypark Renewable Energy Sdn Bhd completed the early and full redemption of its outstanding Tranche 1 Perpetual Sukuk Musharakah amounting to RM235 million today.
The integrated renewable energy and environmental solutions provider said this was in accordance with the terms of the facility and following approvals from the sukukholders obtained on Oct 7, 2025.
“The redemption underscores Cypark’s commitment to honouring its obligations to sukukholders and represents a significant step in the group’s ongoing strategic and financial transformation.
“This exercise forms part of Cypark’s broader balance sheet optimisation efforts, following the group-wide refinancing exercise that will enable the group to address legacy financing structures and strengthen its long-term capital profile,” it said in a Bursa Malaysia filing.
Group managing director Datuk Ami Moris said the early and full redemption reflects the steady progress the group is making in strengthening Cypark as an organisation and reinforces the commitment to meeting obligations.
“This redemption is one of several initiatives under our RM1.3 billion refinancing programme with MBSB Bank, intended to strengthen the group’s overall financial footing and support the next phase of disciplined execution and long-term growth,” she added.
