KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 7 (Bernama) -- Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil expressed sadness over the passing of popular 1980s-era singer and actor Mohd Latiff Ismail, better known as Isma Aliff, who died today.
“Another entertainer who once enriched the country’s entertainment scene has passed away,” he said.
“May the deceased’s family remain patient and strong in facing this test. Al-Fatihah,” he said in a Facebook post today.
Earlier, media reports said that Mohd Latiff, 62, breathed his last at 8.30 am today at his residence in Kampung Melayu Ampang, Selangor.
The news of his passing was confirmed by his sister, Shamsidah, 60.
