KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 21 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher in line with the underlying cash market.
At the close, January 2026 was 16 points higher at 1,711.5, February 2025 rose 13.5 points to 1,715.0, while March 2026 and June 2026 increased 12.5 points each to 1,695.5, and 1,699.5, respectively.
Turnover increased to 8,293 lots from 5,928 lots yesterday, while open interest climbed to 43,841 contracts from 40,928 contracts previously.
At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 6.75 points or 0.39 per cent to 1,705.81 from Tuesday’s close of 1,699.06.
