KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 26 (Bernama-SPA) -- Saudi Arabia’s Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Ministry, represented by the religious attaché at the Saudi Embassy in Malaysia, hosted an iftar banquet on Wednesday for fasting Muslims at the National Mosque in the capital city here.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the event was attended by several prominent Islamic figures and approximately 600 individuals.

It was organised as part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' programme for providing iftar meals, which the ministry is implementing across numerous countries during the holy month of Ramadan.

Attendees expressed their gratitude to the Kingdom's leadership, noting that the initiative embodies Saudi Arabia's long-standing dedication to serving Islam, supporting Muslims worldwide, and promoting values of solidarity and compassion among Islamic nations.
