LABUAN, Oct 23 (Bernama) -- The leadership lineup of Parti Amanah Negara’s (Amanah) Labuan Division is now complete with the official formation of its youth wing.
This comes after the youth wing had been inactive since March 2020, when its previous committee left the party and the central leadership suspended its operations.
Labuan Amanah chief Datuk Dr. Ramli Tahir confirmed that the new youth leadership will be headed by Mohd Shahezzad Salim, with Mohd Khairul Feirzuwan Ahmad Kassim serving as his deputy.
“The vice chief is Sharif Khairul Ikhwan Malai, and Mohd Haziq Danial Marali has taken on the role of secretary,” he told Bernama today.
The formation of the new youth lineup was officiated on Oct 20 in a ceremony that was witnessed by Federal Territories Amanah chief Khalid Samad.
Dr. Ramli said Amanah, as part of the Unity Government, remained committed to playing a proactive role in supporting the government's efforts to foster unity among the people.
He said the current Labuan Amanah leadership remained unchanged, with him as chief, Andy Herdywadi Jaafar as deputy, and Rahim Suailin serving as vice chief.
For the women’s wing, Dr. Ramli said that Maureen Tidal was the chief, with Rosina Mustapin serving as her deputy and Rosinah Jahar holding the position of vice chief.
