KOTA KINABALU, Dec 3 (Bernama) -- The appointment of United Progressive Kinabalu Organisation (UPKO) president Datuk Ewon Benedick as the new chairman of Sabah Pakatan Harapan (PH) is hoped to strengthen collaboration between the coalition and Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS).
GRS chairman Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor, who is also Sabah Chief Minister, congratulated Ewon and emphasised the importance of fostering closer ties between the two coalitions for the benefit of the people of Sabah.
“We hope the cooperation and unity between parties in Sabah, especially PH and GRS, will remain strong. We have worked together before, and this effort should continue,” he told reporters after launching the Tuaran District Economic Development Strategic Plan 2024-2035 here today.
