PIKOM WELCOMES ANUAR FARID FADZIL AS THE NEW CEO OF MDEC, CONFIDENT IN ENERGIZING DIGITAL GROWTH

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 4 (Bernama) -- The National Tech Association of Malaysia (PIKOM) extends its warmest congratulations to Anuar Farid Fadzil on his appointment as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC). Anuar's experience in both the public and private sector positions will be beneficial to spearhead MDEC’s efforts to advance the nation’s digital economy.

With the ongoing momentum behind Malaysia’s Digital Economy Blueprint, Anuar’s appointment comes at a pivotal moment. Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo recently expressed confidence that Malaysia’s digital economy is on track to outpace the projected 25.5% contribution to the nation’s GDP by the end of 2025. With Anuar at the helm and bringing renewed vigour, we expect MDEC to be energized and ready to push these ambitious goals further.
