KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 22 (Bernama) -- The Communist Party of Vietnam’s Central Committee paid a visit to Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) at the Petronas Twin Towers today.
The delegation led by To Lam, the Secretary-General of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam was welcomed by Petronas President and Group Chief Executive Officer Tan Sri Tengku Muhammad Taufik Tengku Aziz
He arrived at the building at about 3.15pm and then attended a corporate briefing session to introduce the company and its operations.
At the same time, Lam also took the opportunity to visit the sky bridge and observation deck which are tourist attractions at the tower.
Yesterday, Lam and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim witnessed the exchange of a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) between Petronas and PETROVIETNAM in the field of renewable energy after arriving with his delegation here for a three-day working visit.
This is Lam’s first visit to Malaysia since his appointment in August this year.
