KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 4 (Bernama) – The champions of the 14th Season of the Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MLBB) Malaysia (MPL) Professional League, the Selangor Red Giants (SRG) revived their chances to advance to the knockout rounds of the MLBB M6 World Championship after picking up an important victory in the fourth match of the Swiss stage against China's Keep Best Gaming (KBG) at IOI City Mall Putrajaya, today.
In the best-of-3 (BO3) format match, Michael Angelo Bocado's (Arcadia) men showed a brilliant performance when they won the first match with a score of 11 kills in four in over 14 minutes to take a 1-0 lead.
They continued to maintain the momentum in the second game with a stylish victory of 10 kills without reply to confirm a 2-0 unanimous decision victory.
Meanwhile, another Malaysian team, Team Vamos managed to avoid early elimination after defeating Türkiye's S2G, 2-0.
The two Malaysian teams now only need one more win respectively to secure a place in the knockout stage scheduled on Saturday.
