KUALA LUMPUR, March 4 (Bernama) -- HeiTech Padu Bhd has reaffirmed its commitment to successfully execute the Hydro Life Extension Programme (LEP) of Sungai Perak.
In a Bursa Malaysia filing today, HeiTech Padu said that with a proven track record in energy infrastructure, a strategic partnership with Austrian-based Voith Hydro GmbH & Co KG, and robust financial planning, the company is equipped to deliver its contractual obligations effectively, contributing to Malaysia’s long-term energy sustainability.
Last month, HeiTech Padu received a letter of acceptance from TNB Power Generation Sdn Bhd for the LEP of the Sungai Perak project.
The contract stipulates that the consortium will be undertaking engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC), as well as electrical, mechanical & associated civil works for the Temengor, Bersia, and Kenering power stations worth RM1.04 billion.
Heitech Padu’s portion of the contract value amounted to RM902.96 million.
“The contract is expected to contribute 25 per cent or more of the net profit and result in diversion of 25 per cent or more of the net assets of the company going forward,” it said.
The contract is set to commence on March 31, 2025, and will remain in effect for up to 100 months from the starting date.
