MOSCOW, March 9 (Bernama-Sputnik/RIA Novosti) -- US billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk said on Sunday that the Starlink satellite internet system is the backbone of the Ukrainian military, warning that if he decided to disable it, Ukraine’s frontline would collapse, reported Sputnik/RIA Novosti.
"My Starlink system is the backbone of the Ukrainian army. Their entire frontline would collapse if I turned it off," Musk said on X.
Musk also called an end to the hostilities.
Earlier, Western media reported that US negotiators, during discussions on granting American companies access to Ukraine’s mineral resources, allegedly raised the possibility of cutting off Ukraine’s access to Starlink. Musk denied these claims.
