MAXIS INTRODUCES MIA FOR BUSINESS CUSTOMERS

KUALA LUMPUR, March 13 (Bernama) -- Maxis, Malaysia’s leading integrated telco, has introduced Mia (Maxis Intelligent Assistant), an innovative generative artificial intelligence (Gen AI) powered concierge service for business customers.

Designed to simplify customer experience on the Maxis Business Hub (MBH) digital self-serve portal, Mia combines conversational AI with intelligent workflow automation to deliver seamless roaming service management for businesses.

Maxis said Mia represents a leap forward in AI-driven solutions by Maxis Business, Maxis' B2B arm, as an intelligent, guided chatbot service offering round-the-clock instant roaming support, smart recommendations and personalised suggestions.

With Mia, customers will be able to access information and complete tasks related to their accounts and services effortlessly, using conversational style interaction, ensuring a faster and more intuitive experience.

“This means less time spent on inquiries and more time focusing on what matters most to their business,” it said in a statement.

Maxis Chief Enterprise Business Officer Prateek Pashine said Mia demonstrates the company's commitment to leveraging AI as an enabler of innovation.

Built on Amazon Bedrock and featuring a leading large language model (LLM), this revolutionary solution harnesses the full potential of AWS' industry-leading cloud infrastructure.

AWS Malaysia country manager Pete Murray said Maxis' launch of Mia demonstrates how Malaysia's leading enterprises can harness generative AI through Amazon Bedrock to transform customer experiences.
