AGROBANK PREMIERES SHORT RAYA FILM HIGHLIGHTING FAMILY VALUES AND LOVE

KUALA LUMPUR, March 15 (Bernama) -- Agrobank has released a short film, “Terimalah Mama dan Papa,” in conjunction with Aidilfitri, highlighting love, acceptance, and the strength of family ties across religious and cultural differences.

The eight-minute film, directed by Sabri Yunus, takes a unique approach by telling the story of a Muslim convert couple longing for their child, who has not returned to their hometown for a long time.

Agrobank president and chief executive officer Datuk Tengku Ahmad Badli Shah Raja Hussin the short film conveyed a strong message on family values.

“The choice of this general theme is very much in line with the spirit of Aidilfitri, which emphasises forgiveness and strengthening relationships.

“The love of parents for their children is eternal and never fades regardless of any differences. Therefore, this film reminds children of their obligation to always be dutiful and do good to both parents," he said in a statement today.

The premiere of the web film was held at Dadi Cinema, Pavilion, today and was officiated by Agrobank Chairman Datuk Yunos Abd Ghani. The event was also attended by Agrobank's senior management and cast members, including lead actresses Angeline Tan and Jessie Lim.

The short film is available for viewing on Agrobank's social media platforms starting today.

In the same statement, Agrobank reminded the public not to miss the chance to win RM500 “duit raya” and 10 grammes of exclusive Ladybug Agrobank gold bars, which will be given to 20 lucky winners in the Mega Million Raya 2.0 Campaign draw.
