KUALA NERUS, April 4 (Bernama) -- With all their key players back from injury and ready to rumble, Terengganu FC (TFC) are looking to take home at least a point from their Super League away game against Selangor FC at the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) Stadium tomorrow.
Head coach Badrul Afzan Razali said the Turtles, as TFC are known, must get at least a point to ensure they remain in the top five of the Super League standings.
"We know that Selangor are in fine form and set to finish as the Super League runners-up, but we have no choice… we need to get at least a point. In our remaining three matches in the Super League, every point is vital. If we can snatch all three points, that will be a bonus,” said the 49-year-old coach when contacted today.
Badrul Afzan is, of course, glad that his key players, like (Akram Mahinan), Shakir (Engku Muhamad Nur Shakir Engku Yacob) and Azam (Muhammad Azam Azmi Murad) have recovered from their injuries and are ready to face the Red Giants tomorrow.
"Alhamdulillah, our main squad is almost complete. The import and local players are all in fine shape. No injuries nor suspensions to deal with,” he said.
The Turtles also seem to have revenge on their mind, having lost 1-0 to the Red Giants at their home ground - the Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium - earlier this season.
