KUALA LUMPUR, May 15 (Bernama) -- The 25th Southeast Asian Healthcare and Pharma Show (SEACare 2025) has generated over RM1.1 billion in potential sales and aims to achieve a potential sales target of RM1.5 billion in its next edition.
Held from April 23-25 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), the event attracted over 10,800 trade visitors, with 130 exhibitors from 13 countries and markets.
According to the event organiser, Qube Integrated Malaysia Sdn Bhd, the event has reaffirmed Malaysia’s position as a regional hub for healthcare collaboration and innovation.
Executive chairman Richard Teo said this year’s edition has shown encouraging momentum, from the quality of regional participation to the volume of meaningful business conversations and strategic partnerships.
"With a growing appetite for collaboration and innovation in healthcare, we are excited to build on this foundation as we look toward curating an even more impactful and inclusive platform in 2026," he said in a statement today.
According to Qube Integrated, one of this year’s standout achievements was the launch of the Zafar Venture Capital Fund in collaboration with 5 Pillar Ventures, SEACare’s conference partner.
“While no immediate funding commitments were made, the initiative sparked over 70 new connections between startups, investors, and mentors, highlighting SEACare’s growing role as a launchpad for early-stage innovation and ecosystem building,” it added.
SEACare 2025 was supported by key agencies, including the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation, Medical Device Authority, and SIRIM Bhd, whose joint efforts created valuable global networking and business opportunities for local and regional healthcare players.
As for next year, Qube Integrated said SEACare 2026 will return to MITEC Kuala Lumpur from April 28-30, 2026, and is set to welcome 200 exhibiting companies and 15,000 trade visitors.
“A key highlight for SEACare 2026 will be the Scientific Convention and Trade Exhibition by the Malaysian Dental Association, and the International Wellness Expo by Green Wellness, all united under the Health Summit Asia 2026 to broaden the event’s reach and enhance its specialised offerings,” it said.
