KOTA BHARU, May 19 (Bernama) -- The 42nd Kelantan International Kite Festival, which will take place from May 21 to 24 at Pantai Irama, Bachok, will see the coordination of entry and exit traffic routes to facilitate travel and ensure the safety of visitors.
Bachok district police chief Supt Mohamad Ismail Jamaluddin said that the entrance to the festival area is only through one route, while the exit route is at the back of Tadika Azkia and the KFC fast-food restaurant.
He advised the public to plan their journeys well and adhere to the traffic regulations to avoid congestion and ensure a smooth event.
"The public is advised to use the alternative routes recommended by the authorities to ensure the safety and comfort of all parties," he said in a statement today.
The annual festival, which brings together local kite enthusiasts as well as those from abroad, is expected to draw thousands of visitors to Pantai Irama, one of the iconic tourist destinations in Bachok.
