KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 24 (Bernama) -- Over 6,000 participants, aged 40 to 60, are taking part in the Youth and Sports Ministry (KBS) Masters Games 2025, from today till Oct 26.
Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh said the Games, which is in its second edition, is proof that the spirit of sports is ageless and showed that the elderly could maintain their fitness and competitiveness just like youth.
“Besides providing healthy competition, KBS Masters Games also promotes sportsmanship, strengthens social relations and supports community wellbeing as Malaysia turns into an aging country by 2048,” she said during the officiation of KBS Masters Games 2025 at the National Sports Council here today.
A total of 23 sports, including hockey, aquatics, footall, lawn bowling, pickleball and badminton, will be contested around the Klang Valley and Putrajaya.
