SEPANG, Oct 26 (Bernama) -- Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi spent time watching the 2025 Malaysian Grand Prix (GP) at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC), here, today.
Ahmad Zahid's arrival with his family members was welcomed by Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh and SIC chief executive officer Azhan Shafriman Hanif.
He then briefly inspected the paddock area before watching the Malaysian GP.
Ahmad Zahid is expected to present the trophy to the winner of the MotoGP premier class competition, with the main race scheduled to start at 3 pm this afternoon.
Defending Malaysian GP champion from Ducati Lenovo Team Francesco Bagnaia will start the race on the pole position after topping Qualifying Session 2 with a time of 1 minute 57.001 seconds, yesterday.
The two-time world champion also won the sprint race held after the competition yesterday.
