JUALAN KASIH KEDA MADANI PROGRAMME RECORDS OVER RM500,000 IN SALES SINCE 2024

KUALA NERANG, Nov 3 (Bernama) -- The Jualan Kasih KEDA MADANI programme, organised by the Kedah Regional Development Authority (KEDA) in collaboration with the Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (FAMA), continues to receive encouraging response from the public, with total sales reaching RM524,000 since its launch in 2024.

KEDA chairman Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid said the total sales were recorded from six locations where the programme was held, namely Yan, Sik, Jitra, Baling, Kulim and Padang Terap.

According to him, more than 16,000 consumers had enjoyed total savings of RM174,000 through the programme, which offers essential goods at lower prices.

“The cost of organising the Jualan Kasih KEDA MADANI in Padang Terap alone exceeded RM32,000. The sales recorded show that the programme is becoming more widely known and is truly helping to ease the burden of families,” he told reporters when met at the programme here today.

He added that KEDA remains committed to supporting the government’s efforts to ease the people’s cost of living burden through programmes that directly benefit the community.

Mahdzir also said KEDA plans to expand the Jualan Kasih KEDA MADANI to other district to ensure more residents have access to essential goods at affordable prices.

He said the highlights of the Jualan Kasih KEDA MADANI programme include discounts of up to 30 per cent on 53 wet and dry goods, along with special Happy Hour and Combo Sale promotions.

“In addition, the programme serves as a platform for KEDA and FAMA entrepreneurs to promote and market their products directly to consumers to help boost their income,” he said.
