PUTRAJAYA, Nov 19 (Bernama) -- The Prime Minister’s Office, through the Performance Acceleration Coordination Unit (PACU), will host the Rancakkan MADANI Bersama Malaysiaku programme and the 2025 National Public Service Reform Convention (Rancakkan MADANI Programme) at Dataran Putrajaya from Dec 5 to 7.

In a statement today, PACU said the nationally scaled programme, in collaboration with the Public Service Department and the Malaysian Productivity Corporation, aims to showcase achievements, policy progress and the success of 2025 initiatives transparently and directly to the public.

The Rancakkan MADANI Programme will also serve as a platform for the public to meet national leaders, including Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, ministers, and senior government officials.

“This initiative provides an opportunity for the public to gain a clearer understanding of the government’s direction and objectives, while seeing how various initiatives benefit communities and economic sectors.

“The presence of national leaders throughout the programme allows for interaction, hearing public views, and understanding community needs more closely, thereby strengthening closer ties between the government and the people,” the statement said.

The Rancakkan MADANI Programme will run from 9 am to 10 pm on Friday and Saturday, and from 9 am to 6 pm on Sunday.

PACU stated that the programme serves as a platform to promote and widely disseminate the Public Service Reform Agenda (ARPA), allowing the public to assess for themselves the reform efforts undertaken by the government to enhance public service delivery quality.

“Through the Associated and Integrated Strategy approach, ARPA is implemented to ensure that the Public Service remains efficient, with integrity, and truly focused on the needs of the people, in line with the aspirations of Malaysia MADANI,” the statement said.

For the first time, the three-day programme will bring together various key government initiatives under eight main segments in a single venue.

They are MADANI People’s Products, MADANI Public Wellbeing, ASEAN Chairmanship and international relations, MADANI Community Solidarity, MADANI Youth, Visit Malaysia Year 2026, as well as ARPA.

“The overall segments are designed to present the government’s policy ecosystem in a more holistic manner, easily accessible and directly beneficial to the public,” the statement read.

In addition to a variety of on-the-spot services offered by ministries and agencies, numerous engaging activities await visitors, including exhibitions of defence assets, healthcare services, promotion of TVET and STEM AI components, career fairs, and mini tourism carnivals.

Other activities include free helmet exchange programmes, book festivals, cat shows, Rahmah Sales including Back-to-School Sales, agro and sports merchandise, Coffee Fiesta, distribution of seeds and saplings, free motorcycle engine oil changes, free haircuts, street sports competitions, e-sports, and an array of food trucks offering a variety of cuisines.

In conjunction with this, the 2025 National Public Service Reform Convention will also be held as a key component of the programme, featuring keynote speeches by Deputy Prime Ministers Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof.

“The convention is organised to provide a platform for more comprehensive discussions regarding the direction and future of public service reform,” the statement said.

PACU stated that the closing ceremony on the final day will be officiated by the Prime Minister, followed by a townhall session serving as an open dialogue between national leaders and the public.

The Prime Minister is also scheduled to conduct a walkabout around the programme site to meet and interact closely with visitors.

The programme continues the Year-One With the MADANI Government Programme (PSBKM) and the Two-Year MADANI Government Programme (2TM), which have established a tradition of annual MADANI Government performance reporting directly to the people.

“This also affirms the government’s commitment to ensuring periodic performance reporting that is transparent, open, and consistently people-centric,” PACU said.
