NO BLANKET ORDER ON SUPPORT FOR GRS, BN IN SABAH ELECTION - FUZIAH

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 24 (Bernama) -- Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) has not given the party members in Sabah any direction on which party they should support in seats where Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) and Barisan Nasional (BN) are clashing in the 17th Sabah State Election.

PKR secretary-general Datuk Dr Fuziah Salleh said the central leadership would decide on which candidates to endorse when the time comes.

“At the moment, there is no blanket order. We’ll do it on a case-by-case basis depending on which one is more winnable.

“We will give the instruction when the time comes,” she said when met after officiating the ASEAN E-Commerce Conference 2025 here today.

It was reported that a PKR branch has pledged its support for the BN candidate contesting for the Tempasuk seat over the candidate fielded by GRS.

Polling day for the state polls is set for Nov 29, with early voting taking place tomorrow.
