KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 26 (Bernama) -- Saudi Arabia will host the inaugural BEYOND PROFIT International Non-profit Forum in Riyadh from Dec 3 to 5, convening global leaders, policymakers, and practitioners to explore the sector’s future and its contribution to sustainable development and social impact.
Organised by the National Centre for Non-profit Sector (NCNP) and powered by the Saudi Conventions and Exhibitions General Authority (SCEGA), the forum aims to serve as a platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and innovation across the global social sector.
NCNP in a statement said more than 80 speakers from diverse specialities and sectors, including prominent regional and international figures, will participate.
“The programme features a wide range of panel discussions addressing vital topics affecting the sector’s present and future aspirations,” the statement said.
According to NCNP, the forum highlights include sessions on “Building Trust Through Compliance and Transparency: Efficient, Digital, Pro-Impact,” “Give It Away, the Right Way: From Effective Altruism to 'No Strings' Approaches,” and “Purpose in the Age of AI: Advancing Mission Innovation Responsibly and at Scale.”
Other key discussions include ‘The Social Impact Lifecycle: Aligning Donors, Investors, and Governments for Scaling’, ‘How Social Impact Contributes to Economic Growth’, and ‘Beyond 2030: Growing Aid, Tech, and Philanthropy’, it said.
NCNP said the first-of-its-kind forum underlines Saudi Arabia’s position as a global hub for innovation and impact in the development and social sectors.
“It reflects the country’s ongoing commitment to developing the non-profit sector as a key driver of future growth by adopting modern visions, innovative financing mechanisms, and strategic alliances aligned with global transformations,” it said.
It also said that the forum contributes to advancing the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and elevating the non-profit sector’s role in building a more sustainable and prosperous future.
