SHAH ALAM, Nov 30 (Bernama) -- Selangor police have confirmed receiving information regarding a shooting incident that occurred in Taman Mesra Indah in Klang Selatan last night.
Selangor police chief Datuk Shazeli Kahar said the Klang Selatan district police headquarters (IPD) control centre received the information at 8.35 pm last night.
“The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code and the motive for the incident is still under investigation.
“Members of the public who saw or have information regarding the incident are asked to come forward to assist in the investigation or contact Senior Criminal Investigation Officer ASP Mohd Harman Mohd Haniff at 019-2100334 or the Klang Selatan IPD Operations Room at 03-33762222,” he said in a statement today.
Earlier, the media reported that a man was found dead in a four-wheel drive by a member of the public, believed to have been shot in Taman Mesra Indah, near here, last night.
In several video clips related to the case that went viral on social media, the man was found in the seat of the vehicle in question.
