TENGKU AMIR SHAH GRACES 2025 RAJA MUDA OF SELANGOR CUP FINAL

SHAH ALAM, Dec 6 (Bernama) -- The Raja Muda of Selangor, Tengku Amir Shah Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, graced the final match of the 2025 Raja Muda of Selangor Cup at the Selangor Football Association Field in Section 5, here.

He was welcomed upon his arrival at around 3 pm by the chairman of the Raja Muda of Selangor Cup, Datuk Emran Kadir, accompanied by representatives of the tournament’s strategic partners, to witness the match between SK Serdang and SK Ulu Yam Bharu.

The under-12 category match saw both teams display energetic performances, having maintained excellent form throughout the tournament leading up to the final.

At the final whistle, SK Serdang emerged as champions after defeating SK Ulu Yam Bharu 2-0, with standout player Muhammad Arif Mohd Radzuan scoring both goals, denying the opposition their first championship.

Tengku Amir Shah then presented the champions with a prize of RM5,000 along with the accompanying trophy, while the runners-up received a cheque for RM4,000, sponsored by the tournament’s main sponsor, Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor (KPS) Berhad.

Muhammad Arif’s prowess caught attention as he was named both the tournament’s best player and top scorer, netting 11 goals in total.

This year’s Raja Muda of Selangor Cup brought together 32 primary school teams from across the state, divided into eight groups, with the top two teams from each group entering the knockout stages.

The competition also offered RM3,000 for third place and RM2,000 for fourth place, in addition to trophies and medals.
