KUALA LUMPUR, 19 Dis (Bernama) -- Penang FC finally got off the bottom of the Super League when they beat PDRM FC 3-0 at City Stadium, Penang today.

The home team were aggressively looking for their second win of the season, attacking and dominating play throughout the first half and were rewarded with their first goal in the 23rd minute by Australian Dylan-Wenzel Halls.

The match continued to favour Penang as PDRM FC were down to 10 men after Awad Salleh was sent off in the 30th minute for a foul and the home team pressed the advantage in the second half, with Muhammad Firdaus Saiyadi scoring in the 53rd minute after he pounced on a loose ball by the PDRM goalkeeper who blocked a shot by Dylan seconds before.

Dylan then got his second personal goal of the match when he converted a penalty later in the match to end the match 3-0 and lift Penang off the bottom of league standings.

Meanwhile, Terengganu FC (TFC) secured three points after a narrow 3-2 victory over Imigresen FC in Batu Kawan Stadium, Penang today.

The visitors scored early in the 10th minute through Raianderson Da Costa Morais, but Imigresen took advantage of a slower game pace to score an equaliser by Joao Pedro Borira Duarte seven minutes later.

TFC were the better team in the second half as they dominated the game, and Raianderson scored his second goal in the 64th minute, a close-range header, while a penalty in the 73rd minute by Gabriel Silva Costa put them firmly in the path of victory.

Imigresen got a lucky break in the 87th minute when TFC player Muhammad Syafiq Danial Mohd Romzi scored an own goal trying to clear a cross but ultimately were denied a draw as the match ended 3-2 in favour of TFC.

In SARAWAK, Kuching City FC was in dominant form in front of 3,053 of their fans in Sarawak State Stadium as they crushed Melaka FC 4-0 in their Super League match tonight.

A header by defender James Okwousa in the seventh minute opened accounts and set the tone of the match, while a second header in injury time of the first half by Ahmad Danial Asri meant the home team had a comfortable lead by halftime.

Kuching City did not ease up in the second half, scoring their third within five minutes after play resumed through a blistering kick by Timor-Leste player Joao Pedro, while Wanja Ronald Ngah converted a penalty in the 71st minute after a handball by Vitor Carvalho in the penalty box secured their 4-0 victory.
