KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 8 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a continuous rain warning at the alert level for several areas in Sarawak, effective from tomorrow until Saturday.
MetMalaysia, in a statement today, said the areas affected are Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei, Sibu and Mukah.
Meanwhile, the continuous rain warning previously issued for Kelantan involving Tumpat, Pasir Mas, Kota Bharu, Tanah Merah, Bachok, Machang and Pasir Puteh, as well as Terengganu and parts of Pahang covering Jerantut, Maran, Kuantan, Pekan and Rompin, has been lifted.
The warning has also been lifted for Johor, specifically Mersing and Kota Tinggi.
