BEIJING, Jan 13 (Bernama-Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.2 jolted the Kuril Islands at 0734 GMT on Tuesday, said the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences, reported Xinhua.
The epicentre, with a depth of 50.0 kilometres, was initially determined to be at a latitude of 44.60 degrees north and at a longitude of 149.16 degrees east.
