H2O.AI INKS DEAL WITH CERTIS TO SCALE AI FOR URBAN, CRITICAL OPERATIONS

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 22 (Bernama) -- H2O.ai, a pioneer in sovereign artificial intelligence (AI), has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Singapore’s Certis Group to scale the use of AI, focusing on the deployment of agentic and predictive capabilities in operational environments.

According to H2O.ai in a statement, by bringing technologies from both companies, this partnership will strengthen operational resilience, better decision-making and safety across complex infrastructure and urban operations.

H2O.ai Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Sri Ambati said the collaboration will democratise AI for good, enabling more efficient and responsible AI deployments that address real-world challenges in safety and sustainability.

Meanwhile, Certis President and Group CEO, Ng Tian Beng, highlighted that the partnership will help the company standardise, govern, and industrialise AI reliably across operations, combining operational depth with robust AI capabilities.

The partnership combines H2O.ai’s sovereign and predictive AI platform with Certis’ Mozart AI orchestration platform to deliver real-time situational awareness, risk anticipation, and operational planning across domains such as urban security, transportation, and critical infrastructure.

Under the MoU, the two companies will explore joint initiatives, including co-developing AI models for orchestration, prediction, and decision support; deploying and validating AI-enhanced systems in operational settings; and building organisational AI readiness through knowledge-sharing workshops.

This partnership aligns with Singapore's Smart Nation vision, supporting broader ambitions around building stronger AI infrastructure and democratising AI, building on Certis' recent recognitions in the AI space.
