KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 5 (Bernama) -- Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral has introduced Selera Urban Sentral ft. Amelia Christie at Nook, a Ramadan dining experience curated in collaboration with Malaysian actress and lifestyle influencer Amelia Christie.

Aloft Hotels, in a statement today, said the Ramadan buffet draws inspiration from the vibrant energy of KL Sentral and beloved buka puasa delicacies, offering a fresh take on traditional flavours, reimagining classic recipes with a modern twist.

“Curated in collaboration with Amelia Christie, this Ramadan buffet special features popular buka puasa delicacies with an urban twist, including Nasi Kerabu Sushi Roll, Kerabu Soba with Seafood and Nachos served with Tempeh Bolognaise and Tomato Sambal, among others,” it said.

The dining experience is further enhanced with a live carving station featuring Kambing Bakar Berempah, which can also be served as a Burrito Kambing Bakar, alongside live cooking stations offering Beef Roti John with Avocado Salad.

To complement these urban-inspired creations, guests can enjoy an array of Ramadan delights, including Masak Lemak Cili Api Baby Lobster and Briyani Itik Salai, along with an irresistible selection of desserts such as Pistachio Kunafa Cheesecake, Kek Batik Matcha and Banana Pudding.

Adding to the dining experience, Aloft Hotels said live violin performances by Syerot will take place throughout the buffet to create a vibrant and festive atmosphere for guests.

Expressing her enthusiasm for the collaboration, Amelia Christie said Ramadan is a meaningful time for togetherness and sharing meals, adding that creating moments over food at Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral’s Nook allows people to connect and celebrate the holy month in a fresh and vibrant way.

Meanwhile, Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral's Chef de Cuisine, Chef Iskandar Zarrataj, has expressed his excitement in reimagining traditional dishes and elevating them into unique creations.

“Collaborating with Amelia Christie was a natural choice, as she shares our vision of staying deeply connected to our heritage while in tune with today’s trends. Together, we have curated the Selera Urban Sentral dinner buffet to honour traditional favourites with a twist,” he said.

The Selera Urban Sentral ft. Amelia Christie buffet will be available from Feb 23 to March 18, priced at RM158 nett per person, with an early bird rate of RM128 nett per person and RM98 nett for children or senior citizens available until Feb 16.
