KOTA KINABALU, Feb 15 (Bernama) -- The number of flood victims in the Beaufort district has dropped to 309 people from 102 families as of 8 am today, compared with 312 people from 121 families yesterday afternoon.
In a statement, the Sabah State Disaster Management Committee said all evacuees are housed at the Selagon Permanent Relief Centre.
The statement said eight villages have been affected by flooding since Thursday.
Meanwhile, the Malaysian Meteorological Department forecasts afternoon and evening showers in parts of Sabah’s interior.
